The Locations Page allows you to add new Locations to your business. Adding a new Location is a two-stage process. In the first step you will enter Location information. In the second step you will use the Store Operations page to complete the process.
For Accounts with Multiple Locations, you must be at the Account level to add a new location.
Store Operations Page
The Store Operations page allows you to edit existing Locations. This is also where you will select the different Applications and Business Options for your Location.
The Copy Location page allows you to instantaneously add a new Location with chosen identical settings. This allows you to create one reference Location and then copy multiple new Locations from that original Location.
You will be required to enter the new Location’s information, and then select which settings you want to copy from the original Location. By default, all existing settings will be selected when copying a Location. Deselect the checkbox next to any of the settings you do not wish to copy to the new Location.
For Accounts with Multiple Locations, you must be at the Account level to copy a new location.
Once a Location is added, it cannot be deleted from the business’s account. You must inactivate the Location to remove the access for users on the Global Payments POS app, the Global Payments Back Office, and to prevent any transactions from being further ran or uploaded. You are able to reactivate an inactive Location at any time.
